In the circumstances that Cambodia and the world are facing Covid-19 crisis; fighting against corruption is being practiced through the flexibility of working approaches abide by the directives of Ministry of Health of Cambodia and World Health Organization, and these working approaches creates “living in new normal lifestyle”.
Education on anti-corruption in all level of general education program has been continued, and there is dissemination of anti-corruption law to government officials, lawyer trainees, businessmen at national and sub-national administration, vocational training school, and special economic zones, which included 18 target places with 1,326 participants by providing some educational materials containing a variety of messages on anti-corruption.
ACU has prepared educational advertising material as the anti-corruption policy messages such as video, report, educational song, also expanded the advertisement through social medias and cooperated with Union of Journalist Federation of Cambodia launched the campaign called “clean news” for the purpose of improving the advertisement of fact news. These actions contribute to build a clean society. ACU has been a speaker through mass medias on the topic concerning in anti-corruption and has organized international/national anti-corruption day (9 December).
H.E. Dr. Om Yentieng, Senior Minister, President of ACU conducted trainings on “Anti-Corruption Law” to lawyer trainees, Batch 17, at Lawyer Training Center, on February 27, 2020.
