The Drafting of Code of Conduct for Public Officials and Conflicts of Interest
The Anti-Corruption Unit is in the process of drafting the Code of Conduct and Conflicts of Interest, particularly, a national workshop on the Code was organized on 14-16 November 2017 with collaboration from the World Bank and UNODC participated by 120 government officials from many concerned ministries and institutions. This workshop was organized in line with two main objectives which are to study the notion and consequences of conflicts of interest, strategies and measures to prevent conflicts of interest; and to study the necessities and advantages from the existence of code of ethics/ code of conducts, and the approach to establish code of ethics/ code of conducts in public institutions.
